Warwick has a population of 430 residents with a weekend population probably in the thousands due to its position on serene Lake Blackshear. Many beautiful homes line the 77 miles of shoreline of Lake Blackshear as permanent residence or weekend homes.

Warwick has been named the "Official Grits Station for the State of Georgia" and is the home to the National Grits Festival. The festival is fun for all ages and features a Grits Cook Off, The Grits Pit contents, Grits eating Contest, Corn Shucking Contest, and a beauty pageant. Lake Blackshear
Lake Blackshear spreads for over 15 miles starting at the city of Warwick. The formation of the lake began in 1930 when the Crisp County Power Commission established the Crisp County Power Dam on the Flint River. The lake is fed by the Flint River with over 8,700 surface acres and 77 miles of shoreline. Georgia State Road 280 separates the upstream fisherman's paradise from the downstream recreational boaters area.
